NAME: DEPARTAMENT OF NEPHROLOGY AND TRANSPLANTATION MEDICINE, WROCLAW MEDICAL UNIVERSITY.

DESCRIPTION: The department of Nephrology and Transplantation Medicine, counts with 28 physicians and 5 researchers. In the facilities are 75 beds in nephrology & transplantation beds, 85 patients in hemodialysis in hospital center and 200 in satellite centers, 23 peritoneal dialysis patients, between 55 and 75 renal transplants per year and 1150 renal transplant recipients in outpatient clinic. The number of transplants per year is ca.65.
